PRESENTATION SKILL FOR WRITING IN PROFESSIONAL EXAMINATIONS

1.  In practical problems never start your answer with Yes or No unless you are 100% sure. First mention the relevant provision and show in your answer how you reach the conclusion. In the end conclude your answer in the following manner : “On the basis of above discussion we can conclude that as per the Section-166 Annual General Meeting can not be convened on a public holiday.”  (Consider this as an example).

2.  Try and always mention the relevant section. Make it a habit. Do not ask anybody regarding the importance of remembering a section. If you make it a habit now it will 100% pay at the time of your final preparation.

3. In distinctive question never segregate 2 provisions with the help of a line.
For example: Distinguish between Fixed and Floating Charge
Mention the distinction in the following way:
 i)   Fixed charge is created in the specific property on the other hand floating charge is created on the class of property.
ii)   Fixed charge clutch the property whereas floating charge floats over the property.
Conclusion: You should use “on the other hand” OR “whereas” to club two different provisions.

4. Use only Blue and Black Pen to write. Never use any other color otherwise wastage of time and bed impression on teacher.

5 . Start your answer from a new page with the heading “Answer to Question No. 1/2/3 or 10”

6 . Try and improve your recalling power. When you firs see the question the entire answer should be in your mind. (Yes it is 100% possible). Benefit: You’ll be able to complete your answer with more valuable content as compare to others and very quickly & within a certain time frame. When other writes 5-6 points you write at least 8-10 points.

7 . In theory paper never read practical problems first. First attempt flat questions. Like in Audit or Law first attempt short notes or distinctions etc.
Reason for not attempting the practical problems first is that in the beginning you have enough time to read it twice or thrice and waste your time.
In distinction problems first write something (2-3 lines) about the topic. Example: Like in the distinction between Interim and Final Dividend write some about Interim and Final Dividend and mention in the end: “hence the points of distinction between Interim and Final Dividend are as follows”

8 . In exam never use short forms like AGM, EGM, CG, CLB, ROC, ICSI, ICAI, SAP, AS.
When you start your answer by using a section use like this:
“As per Section-171 of the Companies Act, 1956”

10 . Do not worry you may start your paper by answering question No. 10 first.

11 . You may experiment all these points in your university exams or rather I would say you should use university exams to improve your writing skills.

12 . I have seen many students after receiving their exam copy start making margins with their scale on the left side of the exam copy. This is some thing really horrible. Avoid it.

13 . While writing be specific about your answer. In other words write your answer to the point.(Faltu copy bharna baker hai professional exams mai)

14 . Try and make an effort to complete your paper 100%. In other words attempt full paper of 100 marks. This is very important for fetching more marks.

15 .  Try and avoid cutting of words. During your preparation try and study everything. Everything here means each and every topic. The basic idea behind this point is that you must have something relevant to write about the given topic.

SAVE THE GIRL CHILD

                           SAVE THE GIRL CHILD

Save girls, save the girl child, is a campaign in India to end the gender-selective abortion of female foetuses, which has skewed the population towards a significant under-representation of girls in some Indian states. The "Beti Bachao" campaign is supported by human rights groups, non-governmental organizations, and state and local government in India.

Female foeticide in India

Sex-selective abortion or female foeticide has led to a sharp drop in the ratio of girls born in contrast to boy infants in some states in India. Ultrasound technology has made it possible for pregnant women and their families to learn the gender of a foetus early in a pregnancy. Discrimination against girl infants, for several reasons, has combined with the technology to result in a rise in abortions of foetuses identified as female during ultrasound testing.

The trend was first noticed when results of the 1991 national census were released, and it was confirmed to be a worsening problem when results of the 2001 national census were released. The reduction in the female population of certain Indian states continues to worsen, as results of the 2011 national census have shown. It has been observed that the trend is most pronounced in relatively prosperous regions of India.
[1] The dowry system in India is often blamed; the expectation that a large dowry must be provided for daughters in order for them to marry is frequently cited as a major cause for the problem.
[2] Pressure for parents to provide large dowries for their daughters is most intense in prosperous states where high standards of living, and modern consumerism, are more prevalent in Indian society.

Rates of female foeticide in Madhya Pradesh are increasing; the rate of live births was 932 girls per 1000 boys in 2001, which dropped to 912 by 2011. It is expected that if this trend continues, by 2021 the number of girls will drop below 900 per 1000 boys.

Beti Bachao awareness campaign

Beti Bachao activities include large rallies, po campaigns, wall paintings, billboards, and television commercials and short animations and video films. Celebrities such as video director Jagmeet Bal, and Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, have become involved in "Save the girl child" initiatives.

National support

The Beti Bachao campaign is supported by numerous medical organizations in India, including the Indian Medical Association.

Government support at the state level has provided funding for Beti Bachao publicity activities in particular. The expenditures related to the campaign have been a source of political controversy in Madhya Pradesh, which launched its official Beti Bachao Abhiyan campaign in 2012.

Effectiveness

The campaign has reported some success in parts of India. In 2009, it was reported that in Gujarat, rates of female births increased from 802 to 882 for every 1000 male births. Beti Bachao activities were credited with this improvement.

How to pass CA-CPT in first attempt

HOW TO PASS CA-CPT IN FIRST ATTEMPT

CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT
The most important thing for every student would be: Don’t waste time. Just an example, At the time of registering in the course, you might have thought that I have one year period of time , so can study it later. Ultimately the days will go fast and faster and the exam will due. So remember:  “Don’t Waste Time otherwise Time will waste you.”

1. Attitude *

The first  basic factor towards Cracking CA, CS, CWA exams in first attempt is a positive attitude. Trust in your self that you can do it. Remember this golden words: If you think you can then you can” So generate a belief in your self that you can pass CA exam in first attempt. Yes, you can do it.
So never keep fear of failure and just keep positive attitude. Remember: “Change your attitude and you change your world”
The CA course is really challenging hence the role of positive attitude cannot be over emphasized.

2. Be confident in yourself.. *

Basically for passing CA course, you need not to be a super genius. Don’t feel that CA course meant for intelligent students. What is a peculiarity of this course is even super genius also fails in this course…lol. The main factor is your mind set up and outlook.
Inject  some degree of cautiousness to the brain regarding the challenges of the course. The word here referred to as  challenging and not  tough. So, just be confident in yourself that you will pass CA exam in first attempt and yes you will.

3. Have a clear cut Goal *

You must have a clear cut goal that you want to pass CA in first attempt at any cost. The words “at any cost”  is very important in CA course. You will face a lot of difficulties while pursuing CA but remember you will have to cope up all the difficulties and will have to follow the goal of cracking CA exams in first attempt.
Be cautious, set a good goal. Students normally realize this fact after completing the first CA exam.

4. Forget that CA is tough..

Your approach toward CA is too critical to crack this course. If you feel that the CA course is tough then the course remains tough and remain difficult to clear even if your hard work and repeated attempt.
Think that the course is very challenging but nothing against you. This is the positive attitude. Tune the mind towards the challenging angle so that you can get the means to  face the challenges. You may be pay more attention  and care towards the studies which otherwise cannot be achieved. If you had changed  your mind as suggested above, then , you won half battle.

5. Study with Planning *

This is the most important step in the race of cracking CA exam in first attempt. Most of the CA students don’t follow this most needed step. You need to plan that what you need to read and learn today in a paper sheet just before starting reading. It will not take more than 5 minutes. This will build confidence in your self that you are focused on your goal of cracking ca exam in first attempt.
Remember the golden quotation: “If you fail to plan then you plan to fail”
So make schedules to follow before reading everyday. In starting your performance will be down but later you will be following 90- 95% schedule correctly.

6. Prepare thoroughly.. *

You need to prepare thoroughly & systematically. Concept clearing is the important thing in CA to crack the exams. Prepare from ICAI study materials because it is the best material according to me. Keep reading some reference book of some good author too for more detailed knowledge. You can get an overview of the entire subject at the time of start studies. If there is senior ,what is the wrong for inquiring about the subject.

7. Revision is must.. *

Revision is the vital step that you must fulfill. Keep revising whatever you read in whole week in Sunday. This will lead you to crack the CA exams in first time for sure.

 8. Strategies *

Follow a strategy of study. Remember, you cannot study accounts independent of company law. Income-tax cannot be studied independent of accounting. Thus, these subjects are inter-related. You have to study all the subjects for the examination.

All The Best for your Exam
